NFT Photography Collection: WEARY_ Commuter Street Photography
Pensive. Passengers. Pedestrians.
WEARY_ is a collection of 25 filmic street snapshots of everyday people in transit - pedestrians, passengers and passers-by - various strangers going places, with identifiable elements of transportation in frame. Shot in taxis, trains and planes - subway platforms, central train stations and pedestrian underpasses - all around the world, from Taichung, New York, to Hong Kong all the way to Los Angeles, Singapore and Venice.
The collection’s photos were taken during commissioned and personal trips around the world from 2013 to 2020, all of them utterly candid, ambiently illuminated, and color processed using Chromalicht_21_M, the artist’s signature and proprietary color grade featuring warm hues and tints, filmic tones and visible grain, or monochromatically processed using Luminoir_21_M, _ELSEWHERELSE's signature and proprietary black and white film emulation.
Shot using a Leica M240 digital rangefinder and the usual array of Voigtlander primes, unless otherwise specified.
