VEILED_ is a collection of 30 black & white street snapshots, adventure travel photos and couple portraits - with nameless, faceless, and incognito subjects veiled by shadows and silhouettes. All the images were taken during commissioned and personal trips around the world from 2013 to 2020 - from the urban hustle-and-bustle of New York, Paris, Singapore, and Tokyo; the great outdoors of Iceland and New Zealand; to bucket list island destinations in the Philippines.
All the featured photos are utterly candid, ambiently illuminated, and monochromatically processed using Luminoir_21_M, _ELSEWHERELSE's signature and proprietary black and white film emulation. Shot using a Leica M240 digital rangefinder and the usual array of Voigtlander primes unless otherwise specified.
